Does the RGB on the Nomma Chroma still work if its connected to your PC solely via a 3.5 mm interface? I read in the FAQ that they don't recommend having both the 3.5mm and the USB interfaces connected to your PC simultaneously, so I was just wondering what happens with the RGB if you're only connected via 3.5mm and not USB? I know it's powered separately, so it has the power to do so, but I don't know how you'd control is via Synapse if only connected to your computer via 3.5 mm.

Personally I only have the USB connected. I think the 3.5 is optional. It's probably for if you don't have a spare USB port. I think you need the USB to control the lighting though.
