Razer nommo v2 pro subwoofer not connecting

Got a new Nommo v2 pro, got the speaker and wireless pod working, the subwoofer turns on with a solid green light, but no matter what the speakers don't detect the sub and I get no bass, the speakers flash red to signal that no sub is on or connected. The pairing button on the sub doesn't seem to do anything, tried reinstalling drivers, power cycling both the speakers and the sub but nothing has worked. I do have synapse installed.
