Razer Nommo V2 X audio randomly started cutting out

Issue started around the 7th of August. I’ve seen a few people post about it with no fix. Speakers do not work correctly in any application. They continuously cut in and out. I’ve troubleshooted about everything I could think of, including uninstalling. Only work around seems to be using them in Bluetooth mode which defeats the purposes of the spatial audio. Please help.

Many users have reported audio issues after a Windows update. It seems that a recent update may have introduced a bug or a compatibility issue with your audio drivers.

  • Roll Back the Update: If you know for sure that a Windows update was installed around August 7th, you can try to uninstall it.

    • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Updates.

    • Find the most recent update that was installed around that time and try to uninstall it.

    • Keep in mind that Windows may try to reinstall it, so you might need to temporarily pause updates.

  • Check for an Audio-Specific Fix: Microsoft and other hardware manufacturers often release patches to fix bugs introduced by major updates. Check for a new audio driver or a hotfix.

    • Go to the website of your computer's manufacturer (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.) and search for the latest audio drivers for your specific model.

    • Even if you've already reinstalled the drivers, the version you installed might not be the most recent one.
