Razer Opus (or Opus X) for gaming?

Hello everyone! I currently own a pair of Razer Kraken TE, but I was thinking about changing them for some Opus or Opus X, I'll tell you why: I have a veeeeery noisy family, constantly singing/shouting/whistling and stuff like that since I share my room with my 3 siblings. I would use the headset mostly for gaming, but surely to isolate myself when studying too (I currently study with all of these noises), I thought about those headphones because of the ANC (Active Noise Canceling) technology. Can someone tell me how good of an idea this is and how effective the ANC is please? Also, would it be better to get the Opus or the Opus X? Or should I just keep my Kraken TE?
