Razer Thresher 7.1 Buzzing noise (PC)

Had a Thresher for about a year now, and worked fine, but all of a sudden after boot-up one day the headset began emitting a high pitched screech/buzz/noise that got changed and would get louder randomly. I've tried switching USB ports, but the noise is still emitted; this still occurs if the USB is unplugged or the PC is off. Help would be appreciated.

    Hi, I have quite the same problem here. It has been 3 years of perfect job from the Thresher but now I have random buzzing noise occuring during the use. Some times I have this buzzing noise every 1s during all the day, some times everything works fine duing 1 month. It is the same noise when moving too far from the maximum emitting distance. I have tried switching usb port for the transmitting key but still occurs. The bleue light of the USB is off, seems not functioning anymore. Many thanks for the help.
