I also had purchased this headset but still no activation code. Not in my RazerID nor send via email.
Support told me
"Our 7.1 Surround app is for analog headsets and provides virtual Surround sound to your device. This app currently supports 2 devices so far. It's our Kraken X and kraken 2019."
So they would not give me an activation code.
Then I asked if there was any type of interface support app so I could at lease see my battery level and my response was as followed.
"I've double checked your concern and regarding battery info, we have LED notification that would give us idea about the battery status. Static red - charging"
So I guess if it is green it is working....
And my final quote from my online chat with tech about the 7.1 surround sound
"Now, if you're concern about the Surround Sound, this device of yours is capable of true Surround Sound. As long as it is connect to its audio hub, you should experience 7.1 Surround Sound."
So the wireless headset has to be wired to get the 7.1 surround sound.... kinda defeated the purpose for me. thinking of returning them and going back to Logitech.

If it has True surround, That means it has 7 drivers in each earcup providing a full range of surround sound. You should have absolutely no problem with this. I suggest you follow supports advice and connect it to an audio hub. My brother did the same thing with his Tiamats 7.1 V2. His "true surround" works great! I highly suggest you try it.
