Premium Hardware Capability: I am a loyal user of the Razer Barracuda Pro and Leviathan V2. These flagship devices possess excellent hardware specifications, with the Barracuda Pro’s built-in THX AAA amplifier fully supporting 24-bit Hi-Res audio.
-
Software Bottleneck: Currently, the standalone THX Spatial Audio app is locked at a 16-bit / 48kHz output in Windows. This results in forced downsampling when I consume 24-bit Hi-Res content, preventing the hardware from delivering its full potential in terms of dynamic range and detail.
-
User Request: Users who opt for the standalone THX app over Synapse expect a lightweight yet uncompromised audio experience. I urge Razer/THX to update the driver architecture to support at least 24-bit processing, matching the capabilities of modern motherboards (like the MSI TOMAHAWK series) and your own premium headsets.
-
Functional Conflict: It is frustrating to have to choose between "THX Spatial Sound" and "24-bit Audio Quality." To get the best sound, I must bypass your software, which diminishes the value of the THX Spatial Audio subscription.
Question
Suggestion: Please upgrade THX Spatial Audio to support 24-bit output for Barracuda Pro users。
