Surround Sound Pro or Surround 7.1

Many ask for a Serial for Surround Sound Pro or Surround 7.1.
Why does Razer make it so complicated with this software?

It would be much easier to offer the software for free download, or for 10-15 Euro/dollar to buy.

So, why does Razer make it so hard for people, and why is Surround advertised when Serial is only available for a few products?

Greetings

I don't know why they make it so difficult. I just got the Kraken X and the 7.1 Surround Sound App won't even open to the page where I'm meant to enter the activation code, thus I can't use it. Can anyone help me with this?
They like to take your money... When I purchased my Tiamat 7.1 true surround headphones, it said to register with them and get your free activation code??? I did and nothing... After a lengthy chat with support, it appears they no longer offer that service to purchasers, unless you buy the Kraken?? I guess they want to squeeze that extra money from our pockets and get your personal details :mad_:
I personally think this stinks. It's a great piece of software that should be available to those that buy their headsets.
Why include it in their software if you cant use the damn thing?? Just another marketing ploy by the boys in sales and their overlords..
I bought the Tiamat 7.1 V2 and it was the worst decision I have ever made. The headset sounds like garbage and there's no surround sound app to fix the horrible sounding headset with no bass.
You can try Razer Synapse 2.
However, you will need to contact support with information about your headset so they can give you a serial.

Razer makes this very complicated.

I am using Boom 3d now. You can also try it 30 days before.
Razer Synapse 2 is useless. All it does is change the color of the headset. I need to be able to adjust the sound properties to increase bass because this headset lacks bass.
Did you activate Synapse 2? If so, there are more options like bass etc.
If not, you have to contact the support for a serial.

On the Q&A page of the product Razer recommends having a sound card, highend motherboard with very good inboard sound like ROG boards would also work. These headsets are more or less flat and have no preloaded EQ or dac like an USB headset would. I have no issues with the base once I chance the settings for my inboard sound on my AUSU ROG motherboard or my sound blaster 5.1 sound card that I use them with which is better than the ROG inboard sound and I have yet to find a game that is 7.1 and uses the side driver.
