The speaker wires are still attached to the board.

I've got nothing coming out of the mic now, the speaker wires are still attached to the board . I would desoldering these wires fix my issue. It is there something else? And but after snipping the wires that go to the speakers.

Which Razer device do you have? You can try the steps here for further isolation. Otherwise, PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other steps to help you resolve the mic problem. Thanks!
