Even the 7.1 Surround sound does that. I made a forum too. I will try service restart next time.

solved my issue with THX audio….. I deleted all associate software from my PC and binned the headset due a lack of support on this issue. 
 

Currently gaming using a set of mid tier IEMS and wish I had made the move sooner!!!

This problem would not even allow me to play youtube or load a game like rdr2 rp via redm….after seeing you mention T.H.X. I typed storage in my windows browser and deleted THX and boom my headset started working. and everything started playing and windows device graph issue no longer takes up 15% cpu and stops programs from working that uses audio. (4/29/24)

Hi Razor, just reinstalled Spacial, on a 12700K, idle usage has gone from 2% to 11%. 

This is ridiculous, posting on your community site opposed to board so hopefully something may get done.

This problem seems to be long standing and cant understand why it is still an issue. 

Any support in this would be greatly appreciated to me any pretty much every customer you have that utilise this software. 

I have zero interest in closing programs and application on start up etc. 

Has something changed in the RAZER software recently???

I have an AMD 7900x on an Asus x670e and recently my idle temps have jumped by 10 to 15 C. I have Synapse and THX spatial installed and the issue seems to be with your software. 
 

Choosing the “repair” option when uninstalling RAZER fixes the issue sort term 

Restarting “Windows Audio Service” as suggested in the various threads on this topic is also a short term fix. 
 

Is there a proper permanent solution to this issue? 

 Upgraded to Windows 11 a week ago and still have the same issue with THX spatial running in the background causing increased CPU usage when the PC is at idle, this results in the PC not going to sleep. Still having to resort to the “restart” workaround.  
It is somewhat disappointing that there has been a lack of response to any of the posts.

Guess I need to look for a new audio  option that actually works as intended.

It worked for me when I used the 7.1 Sorround Sound back then.

The solution of restarting the audio service from time to time is working for me, but this is not good.

Same issue here, THX memory leak and CPU usage on IDLE is just ridiculous, started with this problem around 1 - 2 months ago, seems like W11 24H2 doesn’t like this program.

Razer as all the people before me, could you say SOMETHING, like at all? We would appreciate it very much.

Hope it gets resolved in the future.

BTW the workaround restarting the service works for me too. Going to try to disable the FastBoot from Windows, maybe that helps.

So unfortunately i have to refund my razor headset for three reasons (sound quality was good):

1. I could not use the microphone since the Razer BlackShark V2 X has a 3.5mm jack but no splitter included, so it seems it is not compatible with PC (even if it should be).
2. The activation code for THX Spatial Audio, which i got from razor after registering my headset, didnt work, so i could just use the trial.
3. THX Spatial Audio is absolutely useless because of the issue mentioned here, the CPU on my high end pc is between 8 and 22% even if there is no sound to play at all.
