Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed, Synapse 4.0.503. THX Spatial Audio's "Launch" button in Synapse does nothing no window, no error, nothing.

Traced it down to the source: THX launches via C:\Program Files\Razer\RzAppEngine\1.14.0.0\rzappengine.exe -url-params=apps=spatial-audio (a legacy Chromium-based engine dated 8/29/2019, installed from the standalone RzAppEngine_installer.exe inside "THX Spatial Audio Setup"). Its debug.log shows this on every launch attempt:

ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(84)] TransactNamedPipe: The pipe has been ended. (0x6D)
ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(56)] CreateFile: The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)
ERROR:crashpad_client_win.cc(130)] crash server failed to launch, self-terminating

The installed 1.14.0.0 folder is genuinely missing crashpad_handler.exe every other same dated file is there, just not that one.

What I've tried, none of which fixed it:
- Full uninstall/reinstall using Razer's official Driver Clean-up Tool + fresh Synapse download
- Copying crashpad_handler.exe from RazerAppEngine\Tools (dated 2026) into the 1.14.0.0 folder -- same error persists, likely a version/protocol mismatch with the 2019 build
- Searched the whole system for any other copy -- nothing closer to 2019 exists
- --disable-crash-reporter launch flag -- no change
- Windows 8 compatibility mode + run as admin -- no change

Already filed a support ticket (#260911-000539) with all of this, but posting here in case anyone else has hit the same thing or found a workaround while waiting on official support. Anyone else running into this?

Having the same issue. It’s been this way since I’ve purchased them to be honest. There is always some kind of weird miscommunication or seems. Be it updates or software just not working. Not really sure.

Same here the official installer isn't completing properly on my end either. Traced it down with Razer support: THX launches through RzAppEngine, and that engine is missing crashpad_handler.exe, so it self-terminates the instant it tries to open. Confirmed it's not just local corruption on my machine their own install manifest (pulled live from their servers) still points to the same broken setup, so this looks like a packaging issue on their end affecting more than just us.

I've got a support case open and it's already been escalated to their software team. Still waiting on a fix from them I'll post an update or a new reply here once I actually hear something useful.
