Tiamat 7.1 v2 and Equalizer APO help needed

I can't seem to get any Equalizer APO settings to affect the audio of my Tiamat 7.1 headphones. I have them plugged in to my ASUS ROG STRIX B550-f Gaming motherboard 7.1 speaker jacks. Unfortunately the Realtek console and Sonic Studio 3 apps are total pants as they don't allow me to set my own crossovers for each speaker so that's why I've installed Equalizer APO. Do I need to uninstall Sonic Studio and turn off bass management in the Realtek console, I'm assuming I should be doing my own management in Equalizer APO?
