Hey folks, I’ve had the Nommo Pro V2 for all of 24 hours and already dealing with a bunch of annoying issues.

The speakers themselves:

  • When I start up my computer they’re always off/disconnected, is there any way to make them turn on automatically, they’re plugged in via USB that should be possible. 
  • Turning them on requires double tapping the command pod, how would this work for the non-pro that doesn’t have the command pod?

The Command Pod:

  • It will not enter command mode, i’ve tried removing batteries followed every guide online, and nothing has worked. Saw another forum thread where they said only returning the pod and getting a new one fixed this.
  • Not being able to adjust its interactions is a deal breaker expecially given how much the price increases to get it in the pro version
  • Since adding the command pod the windows media controls seem to behaving weirdly, not sure if this is the pods fault or a weird coincidence. 

Chroma RGB:

  • randomly flashes red, this is almost constant, and it doesn’t matter what mode i have it set to in Chroma studio. It ranges from once every 5 minutes to every 10 seconds, it’ll turn red for 1-2 seconds then flip back to whatever profile I have set
  • This is EXTREMELY aggravating especially given how bright the lights are.

 Has anyone else experienced some of these issues and been able to resolve them? I’m half of a mind to just take it back to the store immediately, but figure I’ll try some troubleshooting since the the holidays have extended returns.

I’ve got a bunch of other products and have never had this many issues right out of the gate with seemingly no solutions.

Yes there are several of us on this forum with the power and light sync issues. Ive had my speakers for longer than a year and this power issue has been there since day one. The light sync problem is new and seems to stem from Synapse and Chroma being separate software now instead of integrated. I have a three week support ticket ongoing. I suggest you drop one with them as the solution does is not in this forum. It seems there is a poor design for power state as well as with Synapse 4 overall. I am going to copy your thread here and send it in on my support ticket for them to see. The more we complain on their official support site the better. They don't really monitor this or the Razer Discord.


I have Nommo V2 Pro and THX and Custom Equalizer don't work on Synapse 4. Latest firmware, clean install of Windows 11 Pro.
