[BETA] Synapse for Windows - V4.0.86.2508100703

Installed on my work PC. At least it fixed the FN lock bug on Huntsman TE keyboard (so I can use F keys like previously - without having FN key pressed) - the issue that hasn’t been fixed for more than 6 months.

Will install it later on my main gaming PC, so I’ll check if other bugs are also fixed.

First of all, the headset came without the 3.5mm cable and the dongle doesn’t have the little usb tab that goes inside it ? All Razer products like the Basilisk came with this little tab that goes inside the dongle. This didn’t. Only the mic, headset, dongle and a usb cable came. The headset won’t pair to PC. Razer support seems harder to reach than the damn CIA. So what can I do now ?!!!!

as i mention in the title, my macro module whenever i press it, it doesnt open up like every other module, and when i try to delete it, it goes through the whole delete and then when i try to reopen the app to reinstall its back and still doesnt work. what do i do?

Fan adjustment controls and adaptive controls are not working in Synapse Beta.

There seems to only be 2 fan levels we can select. The “Smart Fan Curve” and “Fixed RPM” buttons will each set its own fan speed, around 2200 rpm (medium) for “Fixed RPM” and around 1600 rpm (low) for “Smart Fan Curve.” The sliders in “Fixed RPM” and adaptive fan controls in “Smart Fan Curve” are NOT working. Fan speeds are static, including when Hyperboost is enabled on my Razer Blade 16 4090 (2023).

The manual buttons on the cooling pad can still be used to change the fan speeds and this setting will be remembered (saved in memory) in “Fixed RPM” and “Smart Fan Curve” respectively, albeit static. These two options in Synapse Beta is essentially acting as 2 memory slots for fan speed settings (changed via manual buttons on the cooling pad).

Everything was working in the non-beta version of Synapse.

Synapse Beta will freeze (not responding, gray screen) and crash after opening it a few times from system tray on my Razer Blade 16 4090 (2023).

The first few times Synapse Beta will open normally from the system tray but after around 4 to 6 times (over the course of an hour or so), it will open the window, but nothing will load and it will freeze and crash after a short while. All RGB lights will also freeze on my Razer peripherals.

Synapse Beta relaunches normally (manually launching the .exe) after it crashes but the window will show “no devices connected” initially (including my Razer Blade 16), before slowly loading each one and display “downloading” for each device. Once the downloads complete, all my Razer peripherals including Synapse Beta will be working again normally. However, this merely resets the “counter” and will crash again after opening it a few times from the system tray. Rinse and repeat.
