I've got a link for 1.03 but am running 1.02 and someone on reddit said you cannot upgrade from 1.02 to 1.03 only from 1.0.0 and 1.01.

I spoke to the support team yesterday, and they told me the same. The version 1.03 installer can't override 1.02 at this time, so anybody who has helped Razer by beta testing their faulty hardware are being left high and dry.

I dont get it, 1.02 u mean the beta, right? There shouldnt be a 1.03 since the 1.02 is still in beta, there should be the official 1.02 and if they made it official, if they launched it then shouldnt there be a post here by the mods?

There is a 1.03 version available if you ask the support staff, but only if you are running 1.01 or earlier.

Lol, they told me to RMA the controller xD. Even when i told them i was beta testing. They seriously need to work on their internal communication skills.
So let me get this straight, there has been a 1.03 official release of the firmware and instead of being given to everyone who has paid 200+ euros/dollars/pounds, it is only given to those who contact the support? And the support didnt make it known that they would be releasing it? So AGAIN someone found out by talking to them and he spread the word? And all of us who tried the beta cant get the update because they didnt predict that? And they take too long to make an update and that update is for everyone who bought it, and now we have to wait for an update for us who got the beta who might be 50 people? Is this for real?

Pretty much...

There is a way of things happening here that i dont understand and i dislike very much, why cant one mod start in the support subforum a thread that announces that the version 1.03 is released and people can ask for the new firmware there? And shouldnt there also be a thread of people who talk about their experience with the controller's new firmware? And the people who created it and tried out the new firmware, didnt they use the same controllers who also had the beta? And lets say they didnt, couldnt they predict that the 1.02 beta users may want to get the 1.03 update? It takes so long for an update to be released and that update is for everyone who bought the controller and now 50 people will have to wait till they find a solution about this? I dont want to imagine how long that will take and with the way things are going i dont want to speculate because it could easily never be addressed. Shouldnt there be a way to downgrade at least to the 1.01 so we can put the 1.03? This doesnt remind me an organised official forum but a village market where everything is based on rumour and what someone heard. Both the 1.02 beta and the 1.03 werent announced and SOMEONE found out by talking to the support about them and spread the word, which year are we living in? 1850? I paid 240 euros for this controller and thats what everyone else paid pretty much, shouldnt we at least get some update on the situation? Im coming here everyday to check whats happening only to learn by accident there's a new firmware? And we werent included in it? Did we buy the controller with monopoly money or something? Most of us 1.02 beta users are the active ones in this community right now and not only werent we informed but we were left out? After waiting since September for a solution to our controller? Does this sound professional in any way?

I fully agree, the way this situation is being handled by Razer is downright offensive to those of us loyal enough to willingly test the 1.02 beta rather than ask for a refund, which we are all entitled to.

For me thats it, im gonna send it back to get a replacement, i will upgrade the new controller to the 1.03 and if the problems still exist then i will ask for a refund, if i cant get it from the store then i will switch it with the new astro C40 when its released and i will pay the difference. I've had enough of this amateur situation.
I wished that, for your guys sake that blowing into the controller could solve the firmware problems aswell :)
Im on 1.01, and my controller works fine atm apart from "blowing" sometimes.

I'll stick to the 1.01 firmware for now.

It improved the controller to a certain extent but didnt fix it completely

Its so sad really, I think that the TE-edition is the most comfortable controller ive used
By putting the controller into bootloaded mode we can put the v1.01 again into the controller, i connected it to the pc, pressed the up arrow on the D pad along with X for 10-20 seconds and it went completely blank, responded to nothing, then i loaded the v1.01 installer and now it has the previous version again. So we can use the v1.03 and see for ourselves what it fixes and what it doesnt.

Why didn't the support from razer told us this ? Why do they insist that we should RMA the controller instead of doing this ?

Good work! Let us know how it performs as I’ll likely try this tomorrow.

Well right now i dont have the links for the v1.03, whats loaded inside is the v1.01, if i happen to somehow get the links for it then be sure i will share my experience with it

So i had the same problems as everyone else with my controller from start, and updating it just made it worse.
few days ago i got so mad after getting killed in blackout because of the drift that i simply pushed down the right stick and blew my life into the controller, and i also pulled and pushed the sticks up and down in the socket.
Havent had any drift since then, my guess is that there is somekind of dust inside from production, making the sensors inside the controller go wild?

This worked for me, and i hope that is working for at least some of you.

1. push down the sticks and blow hard into the sockets
2. pull and push the sticks in/out of the sockets ( i was mad so i did it really hard, be careful 😃 )

Hope it helps!

Edit: i did not have the beta firmware installed

Worked for me as well wit UE. You should get a reward from Razer for this mate.

I need the raiju ultimate 1.03 firmware
wow thank you for this thread all my problem Razer TE fixed i am on 1,03 now and everyyhing going well so far
Got my hands on the 1.03 firmware for my raiju ultimate. Used the bootloader method. Testing it as we speak. So far, so good.
Im intrested if the 1.03 firmware fixes the drift without the "blowing-fix", im on 1.01 using the blowing fix and it works fine, just need to "blow" every couple of hours or so. If 1.03 firmware works as a charm for people i'll upgrade aswell. Just had this problem for so long, dont want to make it bad again 🙂
