This thread was made due to the fact that people who update their Raijus (Ultimate and TE) to the 1.02 beta have next to no idea what it does. I believe it'd greatly benefit everyone, if patch notes for this update were made public and thus we'd be able to test if it works as intended.
With kind regards

Even better. Would be nice if they gave us an update about the future firmware that would fix this. I still cant use the controller despite the beta firmware i'm checking these forums like every day. Got the controller since october. Now i got € 200 paperweight.
Same here ! I came back here every day to see if something change
Hope they speak to us about this frimware

we're all on the same train here, the first thing i would like is some positivity from them, something along the lines of "yea we can fix this, we are already working on it and its going much better" or a version 1.02.2 beta that will be their overall progression till now so we could evaluate it and it might make the controller playable cuz till they are working on it, we still cant play with the controller, the beta was a good idea, i think we need another one.

True, the beta is a good step in the right direction.

Btw im just wondering here, wouldnt Razer want this to be resolved till Christmas? If i was younger i would have saved money and have tried to get it on Christmas for example, dont the sales go up in the holidays by a lot? Should we be optimistic this is getting resolved before/within the holidays or does it mean everyone on their team would have left on vacation and there's no chance?
Wow I'm so happy that I checked this forum before buying Raiju Ultimate. I'd be pissed if I bought it and had those issues. How is it possible to make a new controller besed on an old one with so many issues? There are literally only 3 significant upgrades: chroma, bluetooth and interchangeable thumbsticks and none of them should be giving all those issues.
I hope Razer solves them asap and I can get my new glowy Raiju.
BTW can someone answer a question for me? The first and only issue I noticed with my old Raiju was that its thumbsticks seem a little shorter than on DS4. The angle isn't as wide. Have they changed that in Raiju ultimate?

I have been in contact with Razer Support on Reddit through PMs, and I have to tell you guys, I have absolutely no faith in this brand in terms of fixing this problem.
I have had the v1.02 beta firmware for a long while now, and my right stick is pretty much unusable as it constantly drifts to the left making it impossible to play FPS games, along with the fact that my controller frequently disconnects from the PS4 and I have to manually reconnect it through the system menu...
When I complained about these issues and asked if there is any update at all from the development team or anyone else, the overall feeling is that they have absolutely no idea what stage they are in terms of fixing these issues.
This controller has been a disaster from the start and the fact that Razer are being very vague to their customers on these issues is very worrying. I have already bought the Nacon Revolution Pro 2 because I can't use the Raiju Ultimate, and it is a much better performing controller at this stage.
It is an absolute shame because the Raiju Ultimate is well crafted physically, but an absolute shambles technically. The way Razer is handling this is even worse and if the situation does not improve very soon, I am getting rid of it and never use this brand again. Incredibly disappointed.

I got my Raiju Ultimate last week (was supposed to be an xmas present) but I opened it early to check it worked and I haven't got any drifting atm on it's released firmware. playing subnautica right now with no issues.
only thing I have is a little rough edges near the chroma lights.

That's what though too. Untill i tried other games. Such as the forest, red dead redemption 2, and battlefield 5. The drift is crazy sometimes. Just imagine the christmas sales on this controller. Parents will go out and buy this for their kids, only to return this after the holidays. I'm really afraid for a huge backlash against razer. Unless they fix it....

No problem. Just create a thread in the support section and ask for the beta firmware. Make sure to tell them which controller you have.
The beta is not fixing all the problems. In the beginning it feels good, but after a couple of hours playing the stick drift comes back.
Can affirm the beta has made
Seemingly zero difference at all.

Yeah, it does not hold the settings for it seems. It starts great, but input lag and stick drift returns after a few days. I've noticed, that when i reset the controller over the app it's working normally. So this is just a temp fix. Resetting it every few days.
