I’ve had this camera for about a year and a half. I use it for streaming and it’s worked perfectly well until yesterday when I turned on the ring light. It was fine for all of 5 minutes and then the light started flickering and the image was frozen. After that I tried looking everywhere for what the issue might be. Tried swapping the USB slot it was in, I checked the device manager to make sure the drivers were up to date, I tested it out on another pc for a moment. Thought it was working so I tried to stream with it again. It worked for about an hour before it stopped responding. This time, however, there was a whirling sound to go along with the malfunction of the camera.
