Cant read Shift key markings

Have I missed something? All the backlit keyboards I have previously had backlight things you access from shift like ()@<>. My Razer blade does not. Have I missed something, this is a real pain in the arse. Even in a well-lit room, they are difficult to read. Also is this still the case for the current model, mine is a Razer Blad 2016, apart from this I love it. EDIT Just found another thread. Seems it may be for aesthetic reasons. Fair enough, I guess, but be nice if they were easy to read in a well-lit room. I'm looking for stickers to add :).
