Click Pro V2 Vertical button doesn't work

I just bought a new Click Pro V2 Vertical, assigned the Keyboard ‘F’ to one of the buttons via Synapse, but it does nothing.

Is there something else I have to do to get the mouse button to bind to the keyboard input?
