CPU temps using CPU boost

This is the first razer laptop I have {razer blade pro 17, RTX 3080}. I have a question, when I activate the CPU Boost mode, I don't get a noticeable FPS difference {except for call of duty warzone}, but I do see the CPU temperature skyrocket from high 70c to high 90c and some 100c Could someone tell me if this is normal ? when its recommended to use the CPU boost ?

It all depends on the demand of the game. Some games are CPU intensive and would benefit with the extra CPU power but most of them are GPU intensive so decreasing the CPU power slightly could yield lower temps without any effect on framerates. Sometimes it would have some impact but the CPU temp improvement is a better tradeoff.
