I'm looking to upgrade my dock as I need more USB-C ports and use thunderbolt for my external drives and my 43" 4k monitor. My primary use is home recording and music production.
I'm considering the Razer Thunderbolt 5 dock for its added m.2 slot to support an extra 8TB of storage. However, I've read the fan noise is quite loud and frequent.
Does anyone have experience with this dock? How frequently does the fan go off and is it loud enough to add background noise during recording?
