Double binding keys?

Basically, I'm trying to set up my keyboard for Genshin Impact. Recently, Genshin became compatible with razer synapse, allowing it to control the lighting via synapse. I was unsatisfied with the product of that and decided to customize my keyboard manually. What I am attempting: I am trying to bind keys 1, 2, 3, and 4 to switch the color of my keyboard (based on the element of the character I am playing) I was having no issues, I managed to create the different chroma effects i needed and easily bound them to my keys and it was exactly what I wanted. My issue: When bound, my keys no longer function, and their only use is to switch my keyboard lighting. I refuse to believe there is no option to be able to use the key itself and also have it bound to switching lighting. If anyone is aware of the option or knows a solution to my issue please let me know asap. I know there is hypershift settings, but if its possible to do something like double binding a key, i would very much appreciate the assistance, if any can be given.
