Hello everyone,
I recently performed a factory reset on my Razer laptop to resolve some software performance issues. The reset completed successfully, but after the initial setup I noticed several unexpected problems. The system boots much slower than before, and Windows occasionally freezes for a few seconds during startup. I also found that some hardware features no longer seem to function as they did before the reset.
Another issue is that a few built-in drivers appear to be missing or incorrectly installed. Windows Update downloaded several drivers automatically, but I am still experiencing intermittent touchpad lag and occasional audio glitches. Device Manager does not always report an error, which makes it difficult to identify what is actually causing the problem.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior after performing a factory reset on a Razer laptop? I would appreciate any advice on whether I should reinstall the official Razer drivers manually, use the recovery image again, or check for a specific BIOS or firmware update before attempting another reset.
