Gaming and talking with friends not working

So I typically when I go to play something I get in a call on discord and get on a game but using the black shark hyperspeed v2’s I either have problems in game with hearing using the stereo option(switching to handsfree mode sometimes works). OR only my audio on discord will work. It works fine when I’m just playing the game by myself, but I wonder if this is a problem other people have? I read another post saying that because I was trying to use it as both a mic and headphones that’s the problem, but with all the things Razer said about them I feel like I should just be able to use them like they are but I can’t

    So to understand, your issue is while playing a game and using Discord the microphone doesn't work?

     

    It seems more like an issue either with Discord or which ever game you are playing at the time. Have you checked in-game settings to verify the correct output and input device is selected? Also have you done the same with discord?

     

    I can’t say I've personally experienced this before I’ve used a variety of Razer headsets while playing a game and using TeamSpeak, and Discord no issues.

     

    May also be worthwhile to change the Razer Hyperspeed v2 to the default sound output device and make the microphone the default input device.
