I have Razer Blade Base Model of 2020 with RTX 2070 and setup up the computer as Intel UHD Graphics is default graphic card, and all games use NVIDIA with "Use the advanced 3D image settings" in NVIDIA Control Panel > Adjust Image Settings with Preview Manage 3D Settings & Manage 3D settings, and works without any problem. However, when I plugin HDMI, it switches back to NVIDIA. Is there additional configuration needed for preventing?

1. why would you use intel graphics
2. I dont think razer has an intel graphics card in its comps
No, Intel UHD is in the laptop, actually, it works fine as expected without 2nd screen via HDMI. That happens when HDMI plugged in.

...and the reason is battery life and fan noise, also it is overkill for non-game or non-editing activities like just using Chrome and emails
The Monitor might not be compatible or might be set up to be with the Nvidia GPU. Well that's might thought.

That means that your hdmi port hardwired to nvidia gpu, means directly nvidia gpu connection and by passing intel gpu, on some case you’ll get better performance by bypassing intel gpu on optimus technology system. But yes it’ll make the system more power hunger and fans might be also more aggressive. To preventing that use other ports that can utilize intel gpu, like the usb c, unfortunately in that case you’ve to use adapter.
