I usually keep it simple. I use a basic task list for work and personal projects, then set gaming time around the tasks that actually need to get done. Having a fixed stopping time helps too, especially with games that are easy to play for hours. I’ve found that finishing the important tasks first makes gaming more enjoyable because I’m not thinking about unfinished work.
