How do I THX spatial sound to work when switching between speakers and headset?

Just got THX spatial sound app. I got it working. If I want it to work on my speakers I have to select speakers. When I plug in my headset, it doesn't work, unless I go to the menu and I select the headset, then it'll work, but then if I unplug my headset, my speakers no longer work.

How do I get it so that my speakers will still work after I unplug my headset?

Hi ichiha68,

To make your speakers work automatically when you unplug your headset, you need to set your physical speakers as the "Default Communication Device" in Windows, while keeping the THX virtual device as your main device. Unplugging the headset then forces Windows to fall back onto your speakers. Try the following:

  1. Click the speaker icon on the Windows taskbar and click the volume/sound output to open Windows Sound settings.
  2. Scroll down or click on "More sound settings" to open the classic control panel pop-up.
  3. Right-click on your physical speakers or PC soundcard (e.g., Realtek High Definition Audio) and select "Set as Default Device" (or "Set as Default Communication Device").
  4. Set THX as Your Main Device: Right-click on "Speakers (THX Spatial Audio)" and select "Set as Default Device"
  5. Open the Razer Synapse or THX Spatial Audio App, go to the Mixer tab, and click the "SET AS DEFAULT" button specifically for your headset.

If all else fails,  PM me your Razer THX Spatial Audio app version and link of your receipt in a PDF format: (Save the shareable files via any online drive account listed here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4011?_ga=2.197232171.544708261.1744067200-1885068520.1744067200&_gl=1*vo487o*_ga_3TRK53PM75*MTc0NDA2NzE5OS4xLjEuMTc0NDA2NzM0My4yNC4wLjA).
