Just found a really interesting interaction between my iphone 15 promax and my laptop. I have one of those clear magsafe cases on my phone. When I put my phone close to the bottom right corner of my laptop, the computer goes to sleep. I'm assuming the magnet in my phone is responsible for this phenomenon?

+1Yes, there’s a magnet in bottom part of palmrest and 2nd above the screen. Once they’ll met - it’ll act like you close the lid - that’s why it’s going to sleep / hibernate etc.
So the same thing will happen when you put your phone on the palmrest (or very close to it).
