Is there a way to use onboard memory without synapse?

I have had a razor keyboard for a little over a year purchasing the specific model I got for the key feature of which was that it has the onboard memory, I have tried this out and the memory only seems to work with computers that have the razer software installed and not on other devices, which feels like the feature it trying to imply. I have really been happy with the product as a keyboard for my laptop but was hoping to also use it with some of my other devices which do not support synapse.

Yes and no. Really depends on the device.

For eg mice that have LESS than 4 onboard profile memory can store single keybinds for each key. Mouse which have 4 or more onboard profile memory can store macros (combinations of keystrokes / mouse clicks etc).

Also not ALL functions work even if you have fully compatible mouse / kb that stores macros. You cannot store Chroma settings (which is stupid). If function is not storable in onboard memory - Synapse will show you an info like:
