I own a razerblade laptop that I have been running without the battery. It was working fine but now when I power it on it turns off after about 5 seconds. Any ideas on how to fix?

+1If the power brick is OK and giving adequate amount of power, then you might check the CMOS battery (maybe it’s failing?).
But you don’t have any errors (beeps) when starting it?
How old is the labtop?
