Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing great in those hard times with all the problems we are facing.

I don't know where to start exactly but let me start from the start 🙂 See this as a very detailed feedback.

Back then when I was a teen I bought my first real mouse that sadly wasn't that great, it was a Roccat Kova +, it was my first mouse and I liked it but the rubber grips became hot from holding, it squished out the glue and made the mouse sticky. So after it annoyed me a lot I looked for another mouse and I bought a Razer DeathAdder Re-Spawn, I bought it somewhere in 2010, I was about 16 back then.

I played over 15k hours in Call of Duty 2 (xFire) and MW2 and BO2. So it served me a really long time, then it broke, I decided to try other mice, had the Roccat Kone XTD optical, Func MS3, and many others, I had then the Razer DeathAdder Chroma, I used it and after 2 years one button stopped clicking so I bought other mice, the Logitech G Pro Wireless, used the GPW for little over 2 years and it stopped clicking too.

So I got the Razer Viper Ultimate, played it and it didn't fit my grip. So I tried the G603, then the G703 and I weight modded them to as low as 63g. But it didn't felt right, so one day I was looking at a G Pro Superlight and I somehow came across the DeathAdder V2 Pro, wireless DeathAdder (as of now I have about 5 top tier mice 600euros+ in total) and since I touched the Death Adder V2 Pro I had the perfect grip. I didn't need to adjust the mouse, like rotate it a little so my left right is actually a horizontal movement and not a "oblique line"(Google Translate) and each grip has specific point that touch so you know perfectly how you hold the mouse and your "muscle memory activates", I was destroying kids in Valorant, CSGO, PlanetSide2 and other games. It felt perfect, and now comes my issue what truly is annoying.

So I'm playing a plane game where you can use Macros, and before I didn't use Synapse at all, I just removed all profiles to switch so I have one, set my DP, set the pooling rate and then close Synapse and never open it again. But when I bough the Razer Naga Pro that is basically a keyboard, I started using Synapse and Macros.

The annoying part about Synapse that it feels like it's written using Electron (I'm a programmer since ~10ish years) and it feels soo bad, it's not responsive, you click on the Razer Naga Pro to see the mouse, it takes about 5ish seconds so all the crap loads, then I click the module I have on the mouse, it takes also some time to show me the bindings. Macros are much much slower, when clicking the Macro tab it takes few seconds to show anything at all. So doing all of this actually takes about 1-2 minutes and you can't adjust ingame while you play because it's that slow.

But all of this aside, I had an issue with my Naga Pro and the support told me to clean reinstall synapse and it says that I need to backup the profiles. So I did, but it also says that if I have a synapse account I don't need to worry because it's all in the clouds <3
Now prepare for the joke, my mouse is empty, it has no macros onboard nor any keybinds... why? Idk, what is the purpose of the Onboard storage? Who knows... just marketing? So I login into synapse and I see that it loaded my Profile, it's not named default profile, btw. So I hop into my game and what do I find out... nothing works... i mean no macros, no keybinds nothing. So I go into synapse and what I see, there isn't a single keybind on the mouse, I have the Macros (thank god) but why the hell aren't there any keybinds?
The whole idea of being a programmer and designer is to make things simple, to simplify tasks for users. So why the "Fabolous" are there no keybinds? It saves the macros, good, but how much work is it to also save the keybinds? Now I need to search and bind all keys again.

So the biggest flaw anyone might dislike Razer devices is Synapse, it's the weakest link. It's slow, it eats some CPU cycles and it can be explained by this meme:

Honestly, just make it save everything in the cloud or on the onboard storage. I have onboard storage, where are the keybinds? WHERE, I have 2 Razer keyboard, 4-5 razer mice and if Synapse was a person I would choke it. I like the quality of Razer, even if the Laser Key Switches are lil wobbly... I like them, except the Huntsman Mini FN+Y keybind that I can't disable for some magical reason... I truly turned of about 10 times my PC while playing a game. I actually use a lot of F keys. And ^ (FN+esc) and sometimes happens that I turn off my PC because of that keybind.

I love my DeathAdder V2 Pro, hope it serves me as long as the ReSpawn did and I won't become friends with Synapse any time soon. Unless it becomes good... and cloud actually saves my keybinds... or the onboard profiles...
