Mouse Calibration Issues

I am having some calibration issues where the courser gets Jumpy when the mouse is lifted off of the mat (naga chroma). I re-calibrated and all was good until I rebooted my PC and the jumpy courser came back. I recalibrated again and re-booted PC with the option NOT TO OPEN synapse upon startup. Courser was fine and all is good. When I started Synapse- the jumpy courser came back. Am I missing something with Saving the profile in Synapse? thnks
