Need Apple Interface | Razer Insider

I apologize in advance if this is a duplicated thread, however I could not find any that matched.

With Apple Systems moving up the Gaming World Charts, Please give us a cross platform interface to use our Razer products with both worlds.

I have a both a Alienware R12 and a equally impressive MacStudio setup in my home office. Together I use 15 Razor Chroma products to keep uniformity across both system. Unfortunately, outside of the Keyboard and Mouse that is connected to the apple, all my other products are connected to the Windows desktop so my Chroma works. I seen and heard the argument that Razer is geared to gaming rigs and Apple is just not at their level or even in their sights, I am here to say, that no longer holds true.

Please Mr. Tan,

It's time to merge both worlds and take-on new customers, there is no-one out there right now that jumped on this potential to increase revenue across the board. I am a huge Razor fan however may need to consider alternatives that are compatible with Mac

See the links below for confirmation it's a win for Razer, Inc.

Sincerely,

A Huge Fan

Fun Facts, Is not that Razer doesnt want to deal with Apple but its the other way around, which is Apple that doesnt want to sign a contract with Razer. this kind of thing has been going on for years that Apple users are begging for RAZER to work with OS Eco-System. I would suggest for IOS users to make more threads on Apple forum, in order to hear their users' requests.

You can find similar threads in this forum - Reddit - and Razer Social media, there's always someone asking the same thing, most common is to make synapse work with IOS
Thank you for the feedback - I am heading over to Apple.com/feedback now to voice my request with Apple the same. Truly Appreciate the information.

Mr.Nobody. I also have this question too. What makes Razer different when it comes to supporting MacOS. I would like to see Synapse 3.0 on my MacBook to customize my keyboard and mouse from Razer. What exactly is Apple doing to keep Razer off the platform? Wouldn't it be up to Razer to create an app that supports those device? Logitech has done it with their keyboards and mice, so why can't Razer?
I agree and sadly I am moving on to a competitor. I have been loyal Razer user for many years and was using Razer for both my gaming system and work system alike. My office was a site to see as Synapse ruled and made my workspace the talk of the Zoom halls. All was good until my work system switched to MacOS. I come to love the simplicity of the MacOS ecosystem as I am switching my gaming system to MacOS as well. I tried to make do with using all my Razer products without Synapse, but that just didn't work. I have officially sold all of my Razer products and must say goodbye to an amazing brand. Maybe one day Apple and Razer will see a path uniting but sadly the delay was at the cost of this fan. I have packed up all 14+ Razer items and sold them to a lucky kid who has no clue how much money he just saved. Trust, I had the ultimate Razer setup/system and was one of the biggest fans of the brand. I sold my Alienware R12 Aurora System with a Razer mouse and keyboard to a co-workers kid this week. She is giving it to her kid for Xmas this year and when he opens the shipping box, I am confident he too will be a huge Razer Fan as well. He has no clue but he is getting 2-BlackWidow Elite Keyboards, 2-Basilisk Ultimates mice, 2-Goliathus 3XL desk pads, 2-FireFlyV2's hard mats, 2-hubs, 2-Nommo Pro's kicks speakers, 1-Hammerhead pro, 1-Bungee V3, and 1-Tartarus. This kid will love Santa this year as a year to remember.

Please Razer, keep in mind Apple does not make or design their system for use with the 3rd party developer in mind. It is up to the 3rd party developer to design and keep up with Apple as the hardware and OS manufacture. I am confident you will see the market shifting to the new M1 and M2's as Apple's MacBook Pro 16" and the soon to announced MacMini M2 coming in October is going to put Apple on the map as a serious gaming system to compete with the best. I hope to see Razer as an option as others 3rd party competitors are already macOS compatible.
i need to ask a question how do you get synapse 2.0 to work on my Mac.?? it says in synapse that the keyboard is not recognized and i cant use the keyboard it only lights up in cool colors. Sorry i know im a late bloomer when it come to this . thanks for your help

It does not work - Razer and Apple macOS do not mix. I have tried on many levels using 2.0 with no resolve. The only response I got back from RZR rep is that Apple is not willing to work together. However, Truth of the matter is, Apple does not make their software and hardware to work with 3rd parties. They never have and never will. This is the brilliance of the Apple Eco System that has safety and ease of the UI (Continuity) at the forefront.

It is clear, if a 3rd party developer wants their products to be available for the millions of Apple Users, it's up to the 3rd party companies to build compatible software that works with macOS, not the other way around. There are two major competitors with Razer that currently offer compatible options for macOS as is. We can only hope one day, Razer will jump on board the bandwagon and be compatible. Fore when that day comes, Razer has the opportunity to be the best across the world no matter the platform/OS.

Until then do a basic web search for RGB peripherals compatible with macOS and you will see who the leader is right now that works on both macOS and Windows. I am sure eventually Razer will see the potential they are missing out on as the Apple macOS and Apple hardware move up the charts as a potential future replacement for the current leading gaming builders. Hope this helps point you in the right direction.
