Never buy products at a retail store—I haven’t received my Razer Silver in six months. This is a scam.

On October 15 of last year, I purchased an 18-inch laptop and a cooling pad at the Razer store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Six months later, I hadn’t received the Razer Silver, so I contacted customer service. They told me I needed to provide the 19-digit order number, but my physical receipt and the email confirmation only show the number #RZHK00000 on the receipt. The receipt also proves that I purchased the item directly from your Razer store, not through a third-party retailer. Is your company refusing to provide the Razer Silver, or are in-store purchases a scam?

If you haven't already, please contact the store to see if they may be able to get you your 19-digit Silver code, they might also be able to internally escalate it to provide you a code too.

Hope this helps 🙏🏾

I’ve already asked at the store, and they also think customer service assumed I ordered online. I know that the online order number is indeed a 19-digit code, and the store told me to contact Razer headquarters. It’s clear that I purchased this at a Razer store, and the WTS was issued by a local store employee—the receipt and e-receipt prove it.

There are no 19 numbers at all, as their customer service claimed. The 19 numbers are only for online orders—it’s clearly a misunderstanding on their part. Now I’m worried that buying this in-store might be a scam.

check it —neither paper receipts nor electronic receipts have 19 digits.

Hmmmm, if you’re able to, maybe you could visit Razer SEA HQ(can’t guarantee anything, but it’d be a most direct in-person way to get an answer)
