I had this mouse for about 2 yrs now, but suddenly now it's having issues. It connects alright both dongle and bluetooth. And is recognized in synapse and also devices. But nothing else works, when I connect the status indicator lights up and then immediately after connecting it doesn't light up.

Also noticed that the clicks go through albeit very delayed. Like pressing right click many times and after 2s I can see the input go through. Even the cursor moves(without any input this time) but extremely slow like 2pixels a second.

I could also do a whole firmware update on it but to no avail.

It feels like it's in okay condition until it connects cuz the status indicator just turns off

Not sure what I can do. Please help

It sounds like the mouse is still technically connecting, but something is seriously affecting its responsiveness. Since both Bluetooth and the dongle show the same issue, and even a firmware update didn’t help, the problem could be hardware-related or caused by corrupted drivers/software.

A few things you can try:

  • Fully uninstall Synapse and mouse drivers, then reinstall them

  • Test the mouse on another PC to see if the issue continues

  • Try using it while plugged in directly (if supported)

  • Check battery health or replace the battery if possible

  • Reset the mouse using the manufacturer’s reset procedure

The delayed clicks and extremely slow cursor movement almost sound like the sensor or onboard processor is failing. If it behaves the same on another device, there’s a good chance the hardware itself is starting to die after 2 years of use.

Hopefully you can still recover it, especially if you rely on it for gaming, editing, or creative work with tools like schriftarten generator.
