I've noticed that at times. the laptop gives a out a loud fan whine even when idle. This mostly happened after a windows update, and the screen flickered a lot after this too. I send mine for an immediate replacement, but I wanted to clear a few stuff up.
In love with the aesthetics of it, but is the fan noise common? Synapse only has a lower limit of 3200 rpm which doesn't seem to be low enough considering the idle situation. Also would undervaulting help with thermal issues. I've seen reviews suggesting against that, even using tools like XTU or throttlestop. Is the cpu power limit made to 45W? Is that also common.
