Hello everybody!
i am browsing the market to buy a new set of keyboard and mouse with a set of particular requirements.after research, it seems that the BlackWidow V3 Pro and Razer Naga Pro fit the bill:
- dual connectivity - i intend to use them on my personal PC and work Mac
- a high number of mouse buttons - i have a lot of actions set to my mouse button that i frequently use and at the moment i am limited to 3 (i have 2 side buttons too, but those are back and forward for browsing)
- iluminated keyboard - this doesn't have to be RGB, i'm used to white
- media controls
- wrist pad/rest
Would have been nice to have, but i can live without it since the 2 fill all the checkboxes above:
- finger print reader for windows Hello
My questions for those of you that own either one of the 2 products :
- does the keyboard store illumination profiles?
- are the profile used regardless of the controlling device? (so as when i switch to the other one, the lighting is kept)
- does the wrist pad has a locking mechanism to the keyboard regardless of its type?
- can someone check the Razer Naga Pro and tell me the FCC ID? it should be located on the bottom sticker
- can both be customized in terms of backlight and shortcuts by the same software?
- are there any issues with the support on MacOS? (BigSur 11.5.2 - worst case i presume it will be recognized as a generic keyboard and i can live with that)
- can they use the same dongle? - not the end of the world, i can use the dongles on PC and BL on Mac
