I've encountered the same problem as the rest with my Razer Baraccuda base version just recently while I was playing a game with my friends, it first showed the cracks a few days ago and suddenly it exploded during our game, the warranty is still available along with the receipt.

Also, allow me to ask a few questions, were there any incidents with your headset prior to the issue, such as dropping it? Did you use more force than usual when removing the headset, or were there any incidents of pulling or tugging that stretched it beyond its limit?
