I, like many others, am a victim of the cursed battery bloat. I've removed the battery from the laptop with the intention to continue using while I wait on a replacement battery.
I'm noticing some pretty significant performance issues since removing the battery (<30fps on ffxiv).
I'm wondering if this is just my life while I wait on the replacement battery or whether there is any workarounds to improve the performance.
Laptop is Razer Blade 15 purchased in 2022.

That’s a tough spot—many laptops throttle performance when running without a battery to protect components. Hopefully the replacement arrives soon.
