I purchased this PC from a sheriff’s auction yesterday where it had been held in evidence since 2/21.
It is in excellent condition inside and out, appearing to have only been used for ~5 months as there is a handwritten date of 9/20 on the 2TB HDD.
Whoever wiped this prior to auction entirely removed the M.2 SSD.
Currently, the machine will turn on with a dim keyboard and black screen along with a pulsing green light. Prior research said this would likely be due to the SDD or memory needing to be reseated. I assume missing entirely would qualify.
Question: what is the next step after getting a new M.2 SSD? From what I’ve read, these are more finicky than most and thought it’d be worth the ask.
Thanks,
RIchard
