Hey there. Been trying to troubleshoot some random quirks and stutters i've been experiencing with my new 2026 blade and haven't been able to diagnose. Youtube lag/stutter on all power profiles and optimus/DGPU mode, as well as some stutters when plugging in to an external Monitor via thunderbolt port.
I've updated all drivers (Windows update, Nvidia, and Intel) and even tried uninstalling them with DDU in safe mode and resintalling other versions said to be stable, updated bios and other firmware from Razer, tried disabling THX audio, and just can't seem to fix it. I've even done the system restore through windows and the experiene is the same.
My final straw before returning it is to just wipe the drive and reinstall windows, but wanted to know if anyone has any recent experience on doing this with a newer blade. Should I be using the microsoft official tool or the razer restore files for my laptop, as those don't really seem to have a way to install to a usb like the windows tool. I've read that I should back up the color profiles so i've done that. But should I also disable the bitlocker that requires the recovery key to avoid issues? Also, when i'm reinstalling, should I wipe all the other partitions?
Sorry if this seems like alot, just want to make sure I cover as many bases as I can before I do it.
