The Story...
So, a week and a half ago I was finally in a position to buy a sorely needed new laptop and I've had my eyes on a Razer Blade Pro 17 for a long time.

The model I could most utilize professionally, the RTX 3070 240hz model (w/ expanded screen color space) was shown on in the product listings but with the statement "Notify me when back in stock."

"That's fine," I thought, "I'll sign up." But, something was bothering me, something I couldn't put my finger on. So I emailed Razer support about the model, asking if there is an estimated time of arrival for the re-stoke, or if perhaps this particular model is being discontinued (as has happened to me in the past).

A few days pass, no response, I go back to the Razer Blade Pro 17 listings page and notice the model I was enquiring about was no longer listed at all; very strange indeed.

I finally got an email later that day stating "the model is not discontinued and that more units are on their way to the warehouse." I promptly responded, asking why the model was removed from the store listings entirely if it's going to be available again soon. The response I received to this inquiry was a broken link to a store listing along with instructions to "click 'Notify me when back in stock'" link.

Clearly, the person (or machine) responding to me isn't actually checking into things.

I went back and forth over email with support a few more times, always getting a new email from a differently named "person", finding myself continually frustrated by the fact that nothing I was saying seemed to be read by the other part.

Fast forward to now and even the RTX 3070 QHD 165hz model (the next best model for my needs) is out of stock and I don't know what to do...
I could not for the life of me get the email support people/machines to confirm a expected eta for restock. This question was skirted every time it was brought up.
Consequences...
One of a few things are true and I have not found a way to know which.
- The support emails are lying, the RTX 3070 240hz model is now discontinued, no more are actually on their way to any "warehouse".
- The support emails are telling the truth, but restocking might not happen for a number of months due to container ships being locked up in the LA port or other extraneous limitations.
- The RTX 3070 QHD 165hz model is also now in the same situation of no longer being available for many weeks or months and I can't know.
I don't know how long I will realistically have to wait and I can't get a straight answer from anyone at the company.
Does anyone have any insights or personal experiences dealing with this weirdness.
