i really dont know how to put this into words but i did make a video showing what this mouse is doing. the first few mins should be will u need to watch. sadly i didnt really get the 2 videos synced up right. but even still u can see whats going on,

if i do this with other mouse like my old and i mean OLD logitech M310 i dont have this happen. i guess the left click on the mouse is on its way out.
Exact same Problem here since Yesterday. Half year old Mamba Wireless.
Try resetting all mouse configuration~~~

  • DPI

  • Acceleration

  • Macros

Back to the factory settings and run via Windows mouse settings.

Then reinstall Synapse, but still let the mouse via factory default settings

What is the surface texture of your mouse pad?

Try using something that is black or even a surface of a text book
i made the hard reset with M1 M2 Middle Button and the reset via Synapse and it didnt help. The Mousepad is Black.
Do you have another fully working Windows 10 PC with Synapse installed, you can test your mouse on?

This way we can narrow down, if it is a hardware issue on the mouse or a software or OS issue.

Since the mouse is moving working, I don't think it is a hardware issue. But some sort of driver or software issue that causes the delay in the mouse movement is what I suspect
My Hyperflux also did the same thing and my seller changed to new. I made a quick solution : change the left click to right button 🙂

  • choose your type of device in this case razer mamba

  • right click and windows will give u few option

    • update driver

    • disable device

    • uninstall device

    • scan for hardware change

what you wanna do is scan for hardware change, if there is nothing change try to check update driver if does the same thing, uninstall device and reinstall synapse.

I tried everything. No chance. I even tried all the steps with another PC where Synapse was never running on before I installed. Very annoying Problem after less than half a year of use. The E-Mail i wrote to the support was only answered with the question if they can close the case. Not even a single try of them to help me. The mouse goes back to Amazon an i will never get Razor stuff again. I´m really pissed.

I have the exact same problem. Has anyone actually figured out a solution for this?

I've had my mouse for a few years but it's barely used.

I've tried to contact Razer support but I get the typical BS.
Faulty. Try change the button click right to left . I also had this one and the seller exchanged it for a new one.
I've had this same issue happen with multiple mice; razer, logitech, microsoft. There are two possible causes for this issue.

The first is the the contact switch on the mouse circuit board. There is a very thin metal spring that both functions to make the click sound, and to complete the circuit when the button is pressed. Due to how thin this piece of metal is, sometimes the shape can become distorted slightly which prevents it from making clean contact. When this happens it will either not register the click at all, or will make repeated contacts in a row.

The second issue is on the bottom of the mouse button itself. If the button is not pressed staight down, it causes the plastic spoke that pushes on the contact switch to touch with the edges instead of the middle of the button. Over time this slowly starts to deform the plastic so that it either takes more and more pressure to engage the switch, or it causes the plastic to kind of slide over the contact which results in either missed clicks, or multiple click from one press.

When this happened to my old Logitech and MS mice, the cause was the deformed plastic. I was able to reshape the spoke so it pressed down on the contact in a flatter manner, but eventually it stopped working again.

When this happened to my Razer Mamba mouse, the issue was the metal spring in the switch itself. I was able to take the mouse and switch apart and reform the spring so it worked better, but the issue is once again starting to occur a few months later.

Essentially, it is caused by the manufacturers using lower quality materials to keep costs down, but considering how much more the Razer stuff costs, you would think they would use high quality components so this doesn't happen.
The first is the the touch switch on the mouse circuit board. There is a completely skinny steel spring that both features to make the press sound, and to finish the circuit whilst the button is pressed. Due to how thin this piece of metallic is, on occasion the form can end up distorted barely which prevents it from making easy touch. When this occurs it will both not register the click at all, or will make repeated contacts in a row.
I currently have the same issue with my Mamba, bought Nov 19. I’m a heavy player of Total War and mine started doing it with both left and right mouse click. Pretty disappointed since I paid £80+ for it. The thing is, because it’s both left and right mouse click; I don’t think it’s a hardware issue, I think it’s software. If it was just one side (‘left’ because that the one that’s mostly used) I would suspect ware and tear, but because it’s both, and they started doing it at the same time, it has to be software.

And it’s not just TW. Playing the Windows box game (just selecting and dragging your mouse on Windows desktop, creating selection boxes), it’s doing it on that too with the connction dropping and starting straight away.

Has anybody had any joy with drivers and "Windows update" changes?
