Hello,
I purchased a 2022 razor 15’ base model and would like to write a review after it has finally broken after 2 years of poor functionality. I was excited when I bought my $2000+ dollar laptop. The first thing that was obvious was the battery life functioned worse than my Dell laptop of 7+ years. I assumed the power hungry gpu was responsible for this and since I keep the laptop plugged in I overlooked this issue. Then I noticed terrible WiFi connection. The laptop was unable to keep a stable internet connection despite days and weeks of fidgeting with the router and frequency connections. The substandard WiFi connection persisted through the entirety of the two year life cycle of this piece of crap. My ancient dell laptop had perfect stable connection while next to my state of the art Razer and functioned like a reliable workhorse. The death knell was playing a game while relaxing on the couch. As I adjusted my sitting posture, the power cord dislodged marginally unbeknownst to me. This persisted for a few minutes until glitching in the game caused me to press the power connection secure. The next day the laptop was dead. Attached is a thermal image of the fried component on the motherboard board. I am told the laptop is unrepairable from the experts at ubreakifix. Never again will I buy a razor laptop. Thank you for your time reading my message as a warning to all future potential razer customers to buy a different laptop.
H.O.
