if anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it.
Just got a Razer Ripsaw HD Fresh out of the box, I'm using it with a Nintendo Switch.
Cords are set up right, hdmi from switch into the input, hdmi from the capture cards output to my TV, and USB C to the back of my pc.
I can see the game / switch menu on my TV, but nothing on my pc/ streamlabs/ obs
PC says No active HDMI signal detected
But i can see the device, it says it's working, it just isn't coming through.

Any Ideas?

Did you install the Synapse 3 application and make sure it's detected by the app? Are you using the cables that came with the capture card? Make sure it's securely plugged in. You can PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other model-specific steps to help you resolve the problem. Thanks!

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Razer Ripsaw HD. It sounds like there may be an issue with the connection between your Ripsaw HD and your PC. Have you tried restarting your PC and unplugging/replugging in the USB C cable? You can also try updating the Ripsaw HD's firmware through Razer's website. If these steps don't work, I highly recommend contacting the Windsor Repair Service. They can diagnose the issue and provide the necessary repairs or replacements. Good luck!

I bought a Ripsaw HD in Dec of 21 and it’s been a problematic piece of trash since Day 1. I’ve used it so infrequently because, every time I’ve tried, it’s been a battle to get it to work, from getting the audio to work, to getting the output to the TV to work, to getting OBS to even find the video. Now, the Synapse software doesn’t see it. I’m trying to update the firmware, and the updater software recognizes that I’m connecting and reconnecting it, but the update button doesn’t react. I’ve tried using the USB cord it came with and the one I use for my phone.

I also love that the support link says that there’s an option to chat with someone at Razer, but there’s no link to be found on the page; they keep trying to force us to the forums. At this point, I’m just as impressed and frustrated with the support as I am with the hardware.

I highly recommend contacting the Windsor Repair Service. They can diagnose the issue and provide the necessary repairs or replacements. Good luck!

Is this a joke? This is a garage door company??

Check the video settings in your streaming software or OBS to make sure the Ripsaw HD is selected as the video source.
