Howdy bear!

Ive i hope i can provide some insight.

There are many things I love about the laptop, but first let me give you some background as to how I use it so maybe that can relate to the situation you're looking to use it for. I am a university student studying both Law & economics as a double major. Because of this I spend a lot of time on my campus ( I commute to school and do not live in the dorms.) Because of this I felt it was necessary to have a PC that I can play games on as I am also the vice-president of the game and counsel at my University as well.

I play many games on it and for a gaming laptop Razer Blade 15 is an excellent choice,The price per performance is unbeatable and with a Sleek design you can carry it into class or business meeting and most people don't really think twice about it maybe the green logo might turn some heads but as someone who was looking for something more stealthy it was definitely a more appealing pick. When it comes to games I personally play games like Dota 2 (for 2k+ hours) and often get invited to play games like League of Legends are Counter-Strike. Further games like this the 144 Hertz refresh rate will be your best pic and I strongly recommend going for only 1080p as 4K as a little bit Overkill and drains the battery far more. also if you haven't had 144 Hertz feel free to thank me later it's amazing. I also use the laptop for studies and also use it as a day today item. While I carry a MacBook with me that I've used prior to more could limited space in lecture Halls, when I'm just starting the loan plugging in a mouse and using a blade feels like I'm using my very high power desktop at home I can play the games that I want at the same settings and with a good keyboard that feels right for gaming. There is also plenty of I also adding a mouse and dongle for a headset or just plugging in a headset is not a big problem. When writing papers I don't seem to have any hand fatigue or any strain to look at the screen the viewing angles are also pretty darn good.

There are downsides that I have had from using the laptop but both of which are easily remedied if you might be willing to pay extra few dollars. As someone who is very conscious about keeping their Tech clean, buying the Black version of the Razer Blade 15 really made me not want to use the machine and for the first four months I couldn't use the machine because I didn't want to use it to get fingerprints cuz I often have sweaty hands. one solution I use to remedy this is using dbrand. Why all this is not sponsored in any way I personally use the black matte skin that look see exact same as the actual Palm rest of the blade but doesn't pick up any fingerprints I also skinned up my blade and I think it's amazing and it makes it so much more easier for someone who is very picky about keeping Electronics clean to be able to use it. My second thing I would like to mention is it's a gaming laptop, it will start up like a jet engine so if you're going to class for a business meeting be prepared for that. One way that I mitigate this problem is when I'm in class I turn the monitor down to 60 frames and I manually control the fans down to the lowest setting I can and the laptop behaves quite quietly but since it does work a lot with his fans carrying your charger is a must and I highly encourage it. if you can work within the restraints of that or you don't have a problem with your fans annoying everyone around you then you shouldn't have a problem. when I'm in a study room or in a study hall I turn on the fans to be as fast as I want to be because most people are wearing headphones and that doesn't seem to be a problem. When I'm at home and doing work on the laptop I also bought a amazon basics laptop stand just to give it some more room to breathe along with an external hard drive a 4 terabyte to hold any extra games and any extra video editing files that I use. I really love the laptop now that I have added some dbrand skin to it and I have no reason to replace it the 2019 version works quite well it plays most Esports games with no issues whatsoever and can you play some higher end games on medium settings. If you're looking for a laptop to be able to accomplish both gaming and be a good workstation then this is definitely the laptop you're looking for. If you're looking for something that is a little less chunky and has all the same work features but it's a little quieter I would recommend stealth. And if you're looking for something that is both quiet and has far better battery I would recommend another laptop. The blade does have less than fantastic battery but damn well makes up for it with a fantastic workstation experience along with the game experience.
