Razer Wolverine V3 TE Deadzone Question? | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Just got this controller today and noticed I have to have around a 0.6 deadzone to be drift free. I saw online there was a issue with the pro version of this controller causing it to need higher deadzones, and they released a firmware update to fix it. Does the TE also suffer from this issue. And can I download the pros firmware to attempt to fix it?

Hi tunoktu5,

Thanks for alerting us about this. The Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition has its own firmware updates. It's important to note that the firmware for the Pro version is specifically designed for that model and is not compatible with the TE version. If you have found a dead zone that works for you, it may serve as a good temporary fix. Many games allow fine-tuning of dead zone settings in their controls menu, which can also be helpful. Additionally, have you tried connecting the controller to a different USB port to see if the issue persists? If possible, try connecting your controller to another computer or gaming console to troubleshoot further. Feel free to PM me if you need assistance. I’m here to back you up. Have a good one!
