Request for a new feature in Hypershift - Lighting up individual buttons with macros | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello,

I am a user of the Razer Synapse software and I have been using it for a while now to customize my Razer peripherals. However, I have noticed that when using the Hypershift function, it can be difficult to identify which buttons have macros assigned to them.

I would like to request a new feature in the Razer Synapse software that would allow the individual buttons with macros assigned to them to light up when the Hypershift key is pressed. This would make it much easier to quickly identify and access the macros I have set up.

I think this feature would be a valuable addition to the software and would greatly improve the user experience. I hope that Razer will consider this suggestion and implement this feature in a future update.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

nice I like it.
+1 for this idea

This really needs to be a thing.  I upgraded to the Razer Phantom Keycaps so if I go into hypershift I can’t see any of my keys anymore.  Not ok.

Phantom keycaps have nothing to do with your configuration.

I would like the same principle in terms of labeling the programming/mapping Synapse itself, much like it was done in the Nostromo-software. - I don't understand why that's an oversight, because if you want to know what everything does for each game, as a reminder, you need to check each key's mapping and then also trace back what each of those do in their respective games. - I would say that before this idea, even though I like the idea. - But considering they haven't added labeling after 2-3 years of asking for it, I wouldn't expect much.

I can suggest reaching out to the manufacturer of Hypershift or the community forums to request this feature. You can also try submitting a support ticket or contacting their customer service directly to make your feature request known. They may be able to provide more information on whether this feature is already in development or can add it to their feature request list for future updates.

The manufacturer of Hypershift?… Hypershift is a feature within Synapse, not a product.

I just bought a Deathstalker V2-Pro-TKL (great keyboard!) and there is only one thing that is lacking for dark room users such as myself. Custom keys mapped to hypershift do not light up making it difficult to ping them when needed. I’m not overly bothered with making them custom colours although that would be neat to group them however we really do need the ability to light them up in some manor so that they are easily viewable.

I also can’t understand why this has not been implemented to some degree and the requests span back several years.

This feature would finish this keyboard off nicely with zero complaints. 🤗
