Squad Rewards - Razer Cortex Campaigns
so the squad rewards has began and i want to know is the rewards for all the silver shared across every squad taking part or is it rewards for that sqaud only. for example the squad gets 165 hours and claims the first prize does that mean that no one else will be able to redeem that ever again since the stock for that is only 1? beacuse if thats the case then people who got live in that timezone can easily get that first espicaly with the amount he participents many people will go empty handed because of this? i hope thats not case

also i just saw the the 1st on the leaderboard had 5 members even tho it should be only 4 members WTF?
I mean if you deep read the rules and what not you would have seen that it is split among your group depending on their participation. Also I did see that as well and would like mods to do something about it because they are cheating per says the rules.

i dont mean that i mean is if someone else from different squad redeems that rewards will i still be able to redeem it?

Oh I apologize. No you can’t. It is first come first serve. That’s also under the faq page.

If you look at each reward there is a stock counter so the first prize right now says 1 remaining and as the rewards keep going down the stock increases for them. So the first team to get the first prize will be able to redeem the highest prize and the rest of the teams will be able to redeem the other rewards in exchange for their hours. The rewards with less Silver have less hours to redeem them with so you can prioritize if you know you wont be first you can bow out and get the lower prizes quicker than those accumulating hours for the first place prize.
They are looking at the bug that allowed the 5 man team so be patient, they are working on it.

Well if you maximize your hours you can get a higher reward, join some squads with good numbers.

So that literally means whoever lives in the better time zones will guarantee a pick and if so, it's legit impossible that you will get top prize as there will always be that one group that snags it. Also, will that mean that it is really hard to get even a single razer product after the event ends?

I mean I am not currently playing the system so I dont know how it would be affected by time zones but there are plenty of other ways to get Silver too. This is a gift from Razer, I used to get a new product almost every 9-10 months by just completing the daily tasks and staying active on Insider forums.
Even if people redeem some prizes first there will be other prizes that you can get which are lower in terms of game hours. If everyone goes for the highest reward only 1 team will get it so its better to strategize and go for some lower rewards so that you can end up with something rather than nothing. Again, I am not playing this campaign so I dont really know specifics like when it resets each day for different timezones but you can get enough Silver for products even without this new thing.
Also remember that Silver is basically a free thing given out by Razer to the community so dont feel like you should be given free items for your game time. I mean unless you are AFKing games and not playing them like you used to even when this system wasnt in place. Enjoy the games first and think of the Silver as a bonus for enjoying games rather than earning it as a job.

well im playing the event and i can tell that the time zone really matters im in the uk so when i wake up its been few hours since daily hours reset and people who are in the timezone of UTC will easily get 4hrs in alot faster than most people. there are small rewards in but most of them have already been calimed for the 20 hrs i dont think anyone who has a bad time zone will win and get the high reward. so im playing like i did before the event not even thinking about the razer silver any more since im not getting any
