I am thinking about purchasing razor blade 18 2025 with gtx 5080 32gb. Planning to change ram on my own because via razer its +1500eur for just another 32gb up to 64gb 6400mhz.
All I need is stability, I dont play games but will connect multiple full hd displays via dock. SADLY NO THUNDERBOLT 5 AT BACK OF LAPTOP TO HIDE ALL CABLES but thats not the major issue. Have 3 additonal hardwares from different brands that I ll use. Basically want thin 18 inch workstation with win 11 pro. I cant afford instability of system, crashing, mouse freezing when going to other display...
Heres my concerns:
SYNAPSE - I am reading multiple problems with stability, issues with the latest drivers, keyboard, touch pad.
All I need is using specs of this laptop to its full potential without overheating, high performance, balanced when I am afk. Light on keyboard, one colour, fast start of laptop and synapse. Everything else that synapse offer is meaningless to me!!
It d be far more easier, if laptop wouldnt be throttled without synapse, read that cpu can via other software but vga will not work to its full potential. No clue, why theres not a lightweight version of synapse that control performance only. Not sure, if these issues r connected to a whole software or only if theres a lot of functions activated.
Simple macro: high performance, not overheating, balanced based on stuff I m doing on laptop, keyboard light on colour. For everything else I ll use win11 pro functions (multiple displays), drivers for other brands.
Hopefully I can change macro easilly, if its not balanced based on work. Does it even switch on its own when balanced so I could use full specs of PC?
What r your thoughts?
